The drive
from SeaTac Airport is about 1 1/2 hours from Mount Vernon.
Campers/Trailers:
You may
park your “rig” along the street next to Hillcrest Park which is just four houses from
mine. There are also many RV parks and State Parks close by.
We may be
very lucky, for the Tulip Festival begins April 1st, however, if the
warm weather persists, it’s likely that the tulip will be blooming along with
the daffodils. Therefore, for those
planning on staying for the weekend, it’s important to make
hotel reservations as soon as possible.
Come up
early. relax and don’t be in a hurry. The Skagit Valley has much to offer! There will be a display table at the reception
hall with brochures on Skagit County or come early and stop by the
Visitor’s Center next to the Amtrak Station (which is only .6 miles from my
house.)
